Role Overview
As a Sales Manager, you will lead and scale a data-driven, high-performing team of Mid-Market Account Executives focused on new customer acquisition. You will oversee revenue performance and conversion rates while coaching and mentoring a team of 8+ AEs. Your role includes building sales playbooks, optimizing processes, and influencing tooling to support your teams success.
Additionally, you will work cross-functionally with teams in Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Onboarding, Marketing, and Legal to drive impactful initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Analyze market trends and adjust sales approaches accordingly.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion.
Team Leadership:
- Hire, develop, and mentor a team of US-focused Mid-Market Account Executives.
- Set and exceed team sales targets while ensuring accountability.
- Foster a results-driven, collaborative culture, including in-person sales kickoffs in the US.
Performance Management:
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Prepare forecasts, reports, and insights for senior leadership.
- Use data-driven insights to refine sales processes and boost efficiency.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams to optimize the customer experience.
- Proactively address client concerns and ensure high satisfaction.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Negotiate and close high-value deals with key clients.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure sales operations align with company policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with sales operations teams to improve tools and processes.
- Continuously refine sales methodologies for scalability and efficiency.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Strong performance track record consistent quota attainment above 90% in FY25.
- 3+ years of sales management experience, leading customer-facing sales or account management teams.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth as both an individual contributor and leader.
- Ability to work in EST timezone to support both Ireland and West Coast US teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with expertise in prioritization and time management.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product teams as the voice of the customer.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity with resilience and a proactive mindset.
