Position Overview:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a crucial role within our team by identifying and qualifying potential leads, creating a pipeline of opportunities, and engaging prospects to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and a proactive approach to achieving targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate high volumes of outbound calls to prospective clients to generate new business opportunities
  • Leverage advanced power dialers, to efficiently manage and maximize outbound call volumes and optimize time spent on calls
  • Meet and exceed assigned daily, weekly, and monthly call and conversation quotas to contribute to overall sales objectives
  • Cultivate key relationships with new customers and industries to grow business and create new opportunities
  • Understand customer pain points and create solutions and opportunities to resolve them through regular communication and follow-ups
  • Remain up to date on product and industry trends, and provide new strategic business opportunities
  • Reach out to inactive accounts to re-introduce our client's products and services
  • Nurture relationships through active and diligent follow-up using various tools including, but not limited to phone, email, digital properties, and various Social Media Platforms.
  • Maintain accurate records of all leads, opportunities, and contact activities utilizing the Company's CRM capabilities.
  • Meet Corporate, Department, and Individual targets and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Always represent our company and products with integrity
  • May on occasion be asked to take on tasks outside of job responsibility to help with company goals

Skills/Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably in construction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience with lead-generation tools and CRM
