Position Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a crucial role within our team by identifying and qualifying potential leads, creating a pipeline of opportunities, and engaging prospects to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and a proactive approach to achieving targets.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate high volumes of outbound calls to prospective clients to generate new business opportunities
- Leverage advanced power dialers, to efficiently manage and maximize outbound call volumes and optimize time spent on calls
- Meet and exceed assigned daily, weekly, and monthly call and conversation quotas to contribute to overall sales objectives
- Cultivate key relationships with new customers and industries to grow business and create new opportunities
- Understand customer pain points and create solutions and opportunities to resolve them through regular communication and follow-ups
- Remain up to date on product and industry trends, and provide new strategic business opportunities
- Reach out to inactive accounts to re-introduce our client's products and services
- Nurture relationships through active and diligent follow-up using various tools including, but not limited to phone, email, digital properties, and various Social Media Platforms.
- Maintain accurate records of all leads, opportunities, and contact activities utilizing the Company's CRM capabilities.
- Meet Corporate, Department, and Individual targets and Key Performance Indicators.
- Always represent our company and products with integrity
- May on occasion be asked to take on tasks outside of job responsibility to help with company goals
Skills/Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably in construction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with lead-generation tools and CRM
