Implementation Consultant (SaaS & Workflow Solutions)
Location: Remote (South Africa, Johannesburg preferred)
Salary: R28,000 to R31,000 p.m.
Hardware: MacBook Pro provided
Why this role beats your current setup
If you have 2 to 3 years of experience in data, finance, or business systems and feel capped in your current role, this is your step into international SaaS consulting.
You will get 3 months of structured training to master the platform. Beyond onboarding, 20% of your work week (one full day every single week) is permanently reserved for up-skilling, testing new tools, and getting certified.
Clear progression path: You enter as an Implementation Consultant with a direct route to Solution Engineer, Senior Solution Engineer, and Solution Architect.
Global experience: You will design workflows for UK and European businesses, gaining skills that transfer across the entire SaaS and CRM landscape.
Direct financial growth: A salary bump after your 3-month review, guaranteed annual reviews every January, and performance-based bonuses.
What you will actually do
You will bridge the gap between complex business processes and practical software builds.
- Run discovery sessions with UK and European clients to understand their operational bottlenecks.
- Design and configure workflows, dashboards, and automated systems using no-code platforms like monday.com, Make, and Aircall.
- Train client teams asynchronously using Loom videos as well as live sessions.
- Document system designs and upload new operational learnings into the internal body of knowledge.
Who this is for
We are not looking for software engineers. We want analytical, systems-focused thinkers who understand how businesses run.
- Background: BCom graduates (Commerce, Statistics, Business) or professionals with experience as financial analysts, data architects, or workflow freelancers.
- Business Acumen: You understand business operations (for example, how a closed sale triggers invoicing, resource allocation, and project kickoff).
- Systems Exposure: Practical experience with any CRM, ERP, or tool like Airtable or ClickUp is helpful.
- Communication: Excellent spoken and written English, with the confidence to run sessions for international clients.
- Mindset: High accountability, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
How the hiring process works
- Initial Screening: A conversation with Badger & Bird Talent to review your background and alignment.
- Technical Interview & Case Study: A practical, 2-hour take-home assessment evaluating your logic, prioritisation, and problem-solving. Use of AI tools is encouraged, as the focus is on your reasoning.
- Decision.
If this sounds like your vibe, let's speak.
