Graduate Software Engineer (Mauritius Relocation)

Most graduate developer programs keep you away from the important work. This one puts you directly into the core strategic development team for a major corporate group. You are going straight into a team handling large software projects for the entire business.

The timeline is set. You start in South Africa for two months in January or February 2027. After that, you relocate to Grand Baie, Mauritius.

The Tech Stack You will work with C#.Net, Azure, Angular, and Python. The team also uses GitHub Copilot and Azure AI services.

The Compensation and Relocation

• Salary and Benefits: You will earn between 90,000 and 100,000 MUR per month, which includes medical insurance and Mauritian statutory benefits. This is higher than standard grad programs to offset the higher cost of living in Mauritius.
• Relocation Support: The business pays for and organises your flights and visas.
• Initial Setup: You get three months of paid accommodation and a rental car provided from the day you land. Rental houses in Mauritius come fully furnished.

The Work You will be based primarily in the Grand Baie office, reporting to an Assistant Development Manager. Your objective is to learn as fast as possible while finding ways to add value. You will write code, solve problems, and work closely with the team.

What You Need

• A full university degree focused on software engineering. Diplomas will not be accepted. An Honours degree is preferred.
• Self motivation and drive.
• A good attitude. You need to be a decent person who works well in a team.

The Interview Process This is a straightforward two stage process. First, an interview with the Head of Recruitment and the Line Manager. Second, a final interview with the CIO.
