Job Summary:

We are seeking a client-focused Client Account Manager to manage and grow existing accounts within the exhibitions and events sector. This role demands a professional who can handle conversations with compliance in mind, propose executable solutions, and demonstrate accountability while fostering strong client relationships. With a proven background in events, the ideal candidate will excel in communication, risk evaluation, and delivering against KPI targets, ensuring seamless collaboration with teams and exceptional client satisfaction. A UAE drivers license is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture existing accounts, engaging proactively to build long-term, trust-based relationships that drive client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, understanding client needs and offering tailored, compliant solutions that can be realistically executed.
  • Leverage excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate ideas, deliver compelling proposals, and maintain positive client rapport.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, evaluating risks and ensuring proposed solutions align with business capabilities and compliance standards.
  • Write detailed and accurate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) with strong attention to detail, incorporating thorough research on client requirements and industry protocols.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of custom exhibition booths and event concepts, holding accountability for project success.
  • Meet and exceed KPI targets, including sales, retention, and client acquisition goals, while providing regular performance updates to the Operations Director.
  • Stay informed on industry trends through proactive research, offering innovative and practical recommendations to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in account management within the exhibitions/events industry is a must.
  • Mature and professional demeanor, capable of handling sensitive conversations with compliance and feasibility in mind.
  • Demonstrated accountability, with the ability to assess risks and propose actionable, team-executable solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, paired with strong presentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to write detailed RFPs, showcasing good research skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Target-driven mindset with a track record of delivering against KPIs and revenue goals.
  • Proficient in MS Office, skilled in creating impactful PowerPoint presentations, and familiar with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for professional correspondence.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • A UAE drivers license is mandatory.
  • Arabic proficiency is an advantage (not mandatory).
