About the job Corporate Development Senior Analyst
We are looking for a Corporate Development Senior Analyst to support our growing business through financial analysis, strategic planning, and corporate development initiatives. The role will work closely with senior management on SaaS metrics, business reporting, M&A analysis, and other strategic projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support the Corporate Development Head in management reporting, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives, including M&A and other corporate development activities.
- Own and maintain ARR and SaaS metrics reporting, including ARR movements, new bookings, renewals, churn, expansion, and other key commercial KPIs.
- Manage and analyze HubSpot/CRM data extracts, ensuring sales and pipeline data are translated into meaningful and actionable management reports for the CEO.
- Develop regular sales, pipeline, forecast, and ARR dashboards, identifying trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for management.
Build and maintain management dashboards and reporting; familiarity with Power BI, Excel, or similar business intelligence tools. - Support accounting and revenue reporting, including revenue analysis, revenue schedules, reconciliations, variance analysis, and basic financial reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, and other financial and operational reporting as required.
- Support the identification, financial evaluation, and analysis of potential acquisition targets, investments, and strategic partners, including financial modelling and valuation.
- Use AI tools and effective prompting to automate and streamline data analysis, reporting, research, and recurring workflows.
Assist with ad hoc corporate finance, commercial, financial, and strategic analysis for senior management. - Perform other related Corporate Development and CEO-support activities as required.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, FP&A, transaction services, investment/M&A, management reporting, or a similar analytical role.
- Graduate of Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; Finance or Accountancy background preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting concepts, revenue reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Experience with SaaS metrics, particularly ARR, bookings, renewals, churn, expansion, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasting, is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modelling, with experience in Power BI or comparable BI/data-visualization tools.
- Experience extracting, cleaning, reconciling, and analyzing data from HubSpot, CRM, ERP, accounting, or similar business systems.
Ability to convert large or fragmented operational and financial datasets into clear, concise management insights and CEO-level reporting. - Working knowledge of AI tools and prompt-based workflows for improving the efficiency of analysis, reporting, and research.
- Exposure to M&A, valuation methodologies, due diligence, or investment analysis would be an advantage.
- Experience working in a global organization and/or the IT, SaaS, or software industry would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with a hands-on, all-around corporate finance mindset, comfortable supporting both recurring reporting and ad hoc strategic requirements.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid setup requiring 3 days of onsite work per week
