Records Management / EDRMS Experience Required
Azeus is looking for a Product & Business Development Manager for Convene Records to serve as the de facto commercial product lead for our growing records and document management business.
This role sits at the intersection of product, tenders, business development, partnerships, and pre-sales. The successful candidate will take ownership of translating market and customer requirements into actionable product priorities, driving strategic tender opportunities, and developing partnerships with system integrators and other technology partners.
The role requires strong knowledge of Records Management, Document Management, EDRMS, ECM, information governance, and related compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Product & Market Leadership
- Act as the commercial product lead for Convene Records, representing market, customer, tender, and partner requirements internally.
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of the Convene Records product roadmap, capabilities, competitive positioning, and priority product gaps.
- Translate customer, tender, regulatory, and competitive requirements into structured product requirements and recommendations for the Product and R&D teams.
- Work closely with Product and R&D to prioritize enhancements based on commercial impact, tender requirements, market demand, and competitive gaps.
- Maintain product readiness assessments for priority markets and use cases.
- Develop business cases for major product enhancements, integrations, certifications, and market-entry requirements.
Tender & RFP Leadership
- Lead Convene Records tender and RFP submissions from qualification through submission.
- Evaluate tender opportunities and provide bid/no-bid recommendations based on strategic fit, product readiness, technical requirements, competitive position, implementation requirements, and commercial potential.
- Coordinate Sales, Product, R&D, Legal, Finance, and other internal stakeholders throughout the tender process.
Partnerships & System Integrators
- Identify, evaluate, and activate system integrators, implementation partners, technology partners, resellers, and other strategic partners that can expand Convene Records' market reach.
- Develop relationships with SIs capable of supporting implementation, integration, migration, customization, and tender delivery.
- Work with regional sales teams to identify local partners required for government and enterprise opportunities.
- Develop joint go-to-market opportunities with selected partners.
- Establish partner onboarding, product enablement, and opportunity-management processes.
- Support partners in developing sufficient product knowledge to position, demonstrate, implement, and support Convene Records.
- Track partner-generated pipeline, tender participation, and commercial outcomes.
Competitive & Market Intelligence
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the global Records Management, EDRMS, DMS, and ECM market.
- Monitor competitors and other relevant vendors.
- Develop and maintain competitor battlecards covering functionality, architecture, implementation approach, target markets, customers, partnerships, and commercial positioning.
- Commercial & Business Development
- Work with regional Sales teams to develop and qualify the Convene Records pipeline.
- Support strategic opportunities from initial qualification through tender, demonstration, commercial negotiation, and contract award.
- Help develop pricing, packaging, licensing, implementation, and partner commercial models.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Records Management, Document Management, EDRMS, ECM, information governance, enterprise software, or a closely related field.
- Strong practical understanding of records management principles, retention and disposition, classification/file plans, legal hold, audit trails, metadata, document lifecycle management, and information governance.
- Demonstrated experience responding to enterprise or government RFPs/tenders.
- Experience working with system integrators, technology partners, resellers, or implementation partners.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate complex bids involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating independently in a global, cross-cultural and fast-moving environment.
