About the job Azure Services Systems Engineer
The Azure Services Systems Engineer will undergo intensive on-the-job training and mentoring to prepare him for the following responsibilities for Microsoft-oriented projects
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement systems architecture with the most cost-effective and efficient hardware and software that can satisfy project requirements
- Deploy and upgrade client environments in the cloud and on-premises (create servers, execute deployment scripts, etc)
- Identify and analyze system integration problems, formulate and implement corrective and preventive plans
- Resolve server issues by identifying root cause and remedial actions
- Implement corrective plans by planning out the actions if the problem re-occurs
- Implement preventive actions by planning out the actions to prevent the issue from happening
- Initiate automation by identifying tasks that are recurrent and recommend tools to automate those tasks
- Lead and coordinate with system administrators and all project team members in:
- setting up and maintaining project hardware and software
- managing system configuration
- maintaining proper and complete documentation
- Will work with clients with different time zones when needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or other IT-related courses.
- At least 1 year of work experience in the related field is preferred.
- Has existing knowledge on AWS and Azure is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Has passion for learning new technologies, able to learn on his own
- Works well individually or in a group
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization skills
- Works well under pressure and time constraints
