About the job Business Development Manager (ESG)
Are you passionate about ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and looking to make an impact in driving sustainability solutions? We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Business Development (BD) Partnership Manager to help drive market penetration and build key partnerships for Convenes ESG solutions in Thailand.
As a BD Partnership (ESG Focus), your role will primarily focus on developing and executing a comprehensive ESG strategy, building strategic alliances, driving revenue growth, and positioning Convene as a leader in the ESG space. Were looking for someone with a strong strategic mindset, a proactive approach to business development, and a passion for sustainability and corporate governance.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute ESG Strategy
- Identify market opportunities for Convenes ESG solutions in Thailand, and create a roadmap to position Convene ESG as a comprehensive solution beyond emission data. Collaborate with the product team to enhance ESG features based on market feedback.
- Plan and Build Strategic Partnerships
- Establish and nurture relationships with ESG consulting firms, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
- Collaborate with sustainability-focused organizations to co-develop solutions or host events.
- Leverage partnerships to drive awareness and adoption of Convenes ESG solutions.
Drive Revenue Growth
- Target companies with strong ESG commitments or those looking to improve their ESG reporting.
- Develop tailored value propositions for industries such as financial services, manufacturing, property construction or energy.
- Work closely with the sales team to convert leads into clients.
Market Education and Thought Leadership
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to align Convene ESG with market needs.
- Support sales team by attending and demos and responding to queries from potential clients
- Create thought leadership content such as whitepapers, articles, and webinars.
- Host events and workshops to showcase Convenes ESG capabilities.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic roles, preferably in ESG, sustainability, or corporate governance.
- Experience in the SaaS or technology sector is a plus.
- ESG background preferred.
- Proven ability to build and nurture a channel/community.
- Outgoing personality with excellent networking, event joining and relationship-building skills.
- A strategic thinker who excels in execution and results.
- Proactive, innovative, and results-driven with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create trust and engage mid-level to C-suite directors
- Must have a global perspective and be able to work in a cross-cultural environment
- Thailand (Thai Native speaking with fluent in English)
