Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance of the Companies Act, 2013 and FEMA, 1999 etc., on time.
  • Assist the Group Financial Controller and Managers with the day-to-day, monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close process, reporting and operations, including preparing journal entries and accrual estimates using historical and new data, perform analytics on variances and resolve issues.
  • Assist with tax reporting and legislation research, as needed.
  • Complete monthly bank account reconciliations including variance investigation.
  • Assist external auditors with requests and inquiries on an as needed basis.
  • Handle E-forms to be filed to comply with the provisions of applicable Act.
  • Manage general ledger posting, monthly billing, accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable and other accounting functions on an as needed basis.
  • Process monthly payroll, reimbursement, incentives for employees and file PF/ESIC challan on time.
  • Manage GST/TDS filing & return and income tax as per applicable act and perform other tasks in compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate with Vendors to fulfil the company requirements and ensure payments are being made and received on time.
  • Establish relationship with local banks.
  • Attend to employees & vendors queries; perform root cause analysis and recommend resolutions.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and analysis as needed; ensure that all works are achieved within established deadlines.
  • Collaborate with our offshore Sales and Finance teams.
  • Direct external and internal controls audits.
  • Perform administrative and other duties if assigned as per the need of the company.

Your profile:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • With 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounting
  • Strong experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closure process, including end to end bookkeeping and year end finalization work
  • Familiar with foreign currency translation and inter-company accounting
  • Solid knowledge of IT, GST & other tax laws
  • Proven experience in handling tax compliance and statutory matters efficiently
  • Compliant with all provisions of Companies Act, 2013
  • Experience using cloud accounting software like Xero Accounting System
  • Expert in finalization of accounts
  • Excellent administration skills

  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills
