A leading chemical distribution company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Officer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating import shipments, monitoring logistics operations, managing shipping documentation, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with freight forwarders, suppliers, and shipping lines.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, shipping, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of shipping procedures, customs clearance, and import documentation is an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate sea freight shipments and shipping arrangements.
• Follow up with shipping lines, suppliers, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Monitor shipment status and ensure all required shipping documents are completed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate customs clearance procedures and delivery schedules.
• Maintain logistics records, shipment documentation, and reports.
• Communicate with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely shipment execution.
• Identify and resolve shipment delays or logistical issues to maintain operational efficiency.
