The GMP Cosmetic Factory Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our cosmetic manufacturing facility.

This role requires a strong leader with extensive knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines,

excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. The ideal candidate will ensure

the efficient production of high-quality cosmetic products while maintaining strict compliance with all regulatory

requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including production planning,

scheduling, and workflow optimisation.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products are manufactured in compliance with GMP standards, COSMOS

standard and company quality policies.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators to

achieve operational excellence.

Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and ensure the facility meets

all local, national, and international regulatory requirements.

Safety Management: Implement and enforce health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of raw materials and finished products

while minimising waste.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives, and

implement best practices in manufacturing.

Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with other departments, including R&D, Quality Control, and Supply

Chain, to ensure seamless operations.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, including monitoring expenses and

controlling costs.

Reporting: Prepare regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and other key performance

indicators for senior management.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels of

raw materials and finished products. Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to manage vendor

relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials. Implement inventory control measures to minimise

shrinkage and obsolescence.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Develop and

maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure staff adherence. Conduct safety training and

promote a safe working environment
