About the job Customer IT Specialist
- RESPONSIBILITY
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues between the Infor WMS and other systems, and design and configure new interfaces as needed.
- Ability to generate and modify reports using reporting tools, develop new reports, design labels, and create dashboards.
- Monitor the RF environment, maintain RF equipment, and configure RF screens when required.
- Responsible for monitoring and managing the NiceLabel/Loftware application along with the label printers.
- Provide first-level internal support to the warehouse operators:
- Resolve day-to-day user issues (only reverting to customer support desk if requirement is outside normal operational issues).
- Act as a single point of contact between the warehouse operators and SNS support desk.
- Conduct testing on bugs or issues.
- Deploy patches or fixes.
- Test new functionalities during their introduction in the testing/training environment and provide support to end-users during the transition to production.
- Monitor and manage the WMS database, including scheduled archiving of historical data, optimizing the database server when necessary, and managing memory allocation (applicable for on-premise deployment).
- Perform scheduled or ad-hoc database backups (applicable for on-premise deployment).
2. GENERAL SKILLS
- Strong leader with the ability to control and enforce procedures within the operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly react to issues arising from within the operations.
- Strong follow-up and communication skills in regard to the WMS users and the customer support desk.
- Experience with business-critical applications.
- Experience within a similar warehouse environment would be a plus.
- Experience implementing, using, or maintaining a WMS with RF functionality would be a plus.
3. TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Experience with an RDBMS such as Oracle or SQL Database server, preferably with the Database server implemented with the WMS. A DBA certificate would be a plus.
- Ability to design and configure reports using reporting tools such as Birt, Birst, Crystal, Cognos, Excel etc.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience: 3-4 years
