Job Title: Agricultural Engineer (Agricultural Production)

Job Summary

A well-established hospitality company with agricultural operations is looking for an experienced Agricultural Engineer to lead and oversee all of its agricultural projects. The successful candidate will plan, manage, and improve agricultural production from start to finish, ensuring high yields, quality standards, and efficient resource use across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and supervise all agricultural projects, including olive farms and other related operations
• Develop and implement production plans, seasonal calendars, and cultivation programs
• Monitor crop health and productivity, and apply best practices in irrigation, fertilization, and pest and disease control
• Oversee harvesting operations and ensure produce quality meets required standards
• Supervise farm supervisors and field workers, and coordinate daily work at the sites
• Manage farm resources, inputs, equipment, and budgets efficiently
• Conduct regular field visits and inspections to follow up on progress and resolve issues on site
• Prepare periodic reports on production, costs, and project status for management
• Recommend and introduce improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and agricultural regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, with a specialization in Agricultural Production
• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in agricultural production and managing agricultural projects
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, soil management, crop protection, and harvesting practices
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead field teams
• Good planning, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Preferably reside in Amman
• Must own a car or pickup, as the role requires regular travel to sites
