Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transcriptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for listening to audio recordings and accurately transcribing them into written documents. This role requires a strong command of the English language, excellent typing skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

- Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe them into written documents

- Ensure accuracy and consistency in transcriptions by proofreading and editing

- Use transcription software and equipment to streamline the transcription process

- Meet tight deadlines and manage a high volume of work

- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure client satisfaction

- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information

- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and quality of work

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in transcription or a related field preferred

- Excellent typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute

- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling

- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Proficiency in using transcription software and equipment

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
