Role Overview

As a Structural Engineer with Axionova, you will design, analyze, and oversee the construction of critical structures while traveling to various client sites across state and nationwide. In this hands-on role, you will ensure each project aligns with our high standards of structural integrity, safety, and functionality. From site assessments to direct client interactions, your expertise will be central to our projects success.

Key Responsibilities

- Structural Design & Analysis: Develop and evaluate structural plans to meet safety, durability, and regulatory standards across diverse site conditions.

- On-Site Client Collaboration: Regularly travel to client sites to assess needs, provide real-time technical guidance, and align structural solutions with client objectives.

- Construction Oversight: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, making on-the-spot adjustments as necessary.

- Material Selection & Testing: Recommend materials based on structural requirements, environmental impact, and sustainability objectives.

- Safety & Quality Control: Conduct thorough safety assessments and testing to uphold project standards and ensure adherence to structural codes.

- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports, structural analysis documents, and project updates for clients and internal stakeholders.

- Continuous Learning: Keep up with advancements in structural engineering, materials science, and industry standards to introduce innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

- Experience: 5+ years in structural engineering with both design and fieldwork experience; previous experience with multi-site travel preferred.

- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or progress toward licensure.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural analysis tools (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro) and knowledge of BIM.

- Analytical Abilities: Skilled in load calculations, seismic design, and structural integrity evaluation.

- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communicator able to convey complex technical concepts to clients and collaborate with diverse teams on-site.

- Travel Flexibility: Willingness and capability to travel extensively to client sites, both statewide and nationally.
