We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organizations desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Job Description:

  • Splunk engineer would be responsible for enhancing the architecture, performance tuning and Operational support in prod and non-prod environments.
  • Recognize and onboarding new applications into Splunk.
  • Perform trend analysis, build dashboards and make recommendations.
  • Perform basic and advanced scripting tasks with Splunk to automate repeatable process
  • Monitor, measure and maintain availability and health of our SPLUNK services and platform
  • Provides ongoing support for Splunk platforms as required e.g. problem and incident management and takes part in troubleshooting for service recovery
  • Experience in on-boarding of any applications in Splunk that involves log ingestion, database query and development of transaction stitching by adding key field extraction, lookup, macros and saved searches
  • Well verse in Splunk dashboards and alerts creation
  • Actively participate in end to end system design and delivery
  • Strong ability to manage incidents/problems/defects, apply fixes and resolve systematic issues while managing stakeholder expectations.

IT Skills & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of SPLUNK development technologies, practices and patterns
  • Well verse in Splunk dashboards and alerts creation
  • Strong hands-on experience on ITSI and Splunk data ingestion patterns using DBX JMS-MQ, UF, files, HEC, etc

Experience in a similar role:

  • 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
