Experience:
5+ years experience in Service Catalog development/administration/implementation/
configuration using the ServiceNow ITSM solution
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing/administering technical solutions on the ServiceNow tool
a platform for design and catalog development
Understands the differences between the configuration and customization of the ServiceNow
platform and apply experience to complete the analysis
Good practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions utilizing the
ServiceNow platform while making informed recommendations to process users.
Applies innovative technology to business processes in order to develop new solutions and
troubleshoot issues
Consults with Process Leaders to develop appropriate technical solutions in Service Now
Follows up on outstanding development needs and provides timely status reports to the
project manager
Advises on options, risks,s and impacts on business/ITIL processes
Communicates technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical
audiences
Primary Skills:
Knowledge of web-based development languages; specifically JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS
Working knowledge of ServiceNow components like Business Rules, Client Scripting, UI
Policies, ACLs, CSS, Properties, UI pages, Workflows, Contexts, etc;
Strong customer service and excellent verbal/written communication
ITIL/ServiceNow certified
Desired Skills:
Hands-on Integrations experience with third-party tools/applications with ServiceNow using
plugins & custom integrations
MID Server configurations for Integrations & data pull
Discovery, Asset Management, CMDB knowledge & experience
Non-ITSM application development experience is an added advantage
Understand the full application lifecycle
Desired past work experience with industry-leading providers of ITSM tools
