This role reports into the VP of Product and is a remote opportunity which will suit applicants with previous UX Research experience in Fintechs, Neobanks or digital banks and ideally have a masters degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, or Cognitive Psychology.

Additionally, the successful individual will have experience within agile product development and SCRUM environments working with cross-cultural products and international research ideally in LATAM AND/OR Asia AND/OR Africa.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead, plan, develop, and conduct research activities, ensuring the right methods are applied

- End-to-end ownership with all aspects of the UX research lifecycle (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, communicating).

- Building and maintaining UX Research roadmaps that influence product strategy through close partnership with Product Owners

- Collaborate with product, business stakeholders, designers, developers, and data team to propose recommendations, ensuring both qualitative & quantitative data are used to define and solve both business and user problems.

- Conduct preliminary investigations and competitor analysis, to identify appropriate research methods relevant to the situation, and execute appropriate research methods to inform design and product solutions

SUITABLE APPLICANTS WILL HAVE

- Experience driving programs of research that have a critical impact on design, product, and business strategy and priorities

- A track record of conducting successful research studies that improve the quality of existing products and inform the direction of new products

- Extensive applied knowledge of a diverse range of design research methods

- Demonstrable practical experience managing and leading multiple simultaneous design research projects

- A portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g.: study plans, reports, and data visualizations).

- Exceptional behavioural data-collection and analysis skills, (e.g., designing, conducting, and analysing all kinds of user data).

- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle is a plus

SALARY

From USD120k to USD145k + shares and 35 days annual leave
