Principal Architect - Data Science and Data Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic architecture leadership for IoT and Middleware solution domains across engagements and client programs
• Lead end-to-end enterprise solution architecture covering OSS/BSS, middleware platforms, integration frameworks, applications, and data layers
• Drive architecture strategy, standards, and governance ensuring alignment with global frameworks (e.g., TM Forum, GSMA, Open APIs) and enterprise architecture principles
• Partner with sales, pre-sales, and commercial teams to shape large opportunities, bids, proposals, and RFP responses, providing architectural vision and solution differentiation
• Engage with customer leadership and executive stakeholders to understand business strategy and translate it into scalable technology architectures
• Define architecture blueprints, solution roadmaps, integration patterns, and reference architectures for complex digital transformation initiatives
• Provide technical oversight across multiple programs ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term platform strategy
• Establish and promote best practices in system integration, middleware design, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Lead solution governance reviews, risk identification, and mitigation strategies across programs
• Mentor and guide solution architects, consultants, and engineering teams to strengthen architectural capability within the practice
• Conduct executive briefings, architecture workshops, and thought leadership sessions for internal teams and customers
• Contribute to practice development, innovation initiatives, and reusable solution assets

Person Specifications

• 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Solution Consulting roles supporting large-scale pre-sales and delivery engagements
• Deep expertise in Telecommunications systems, OSS/BSS ecosystems, and operational processes
• Proven track record in enterprise-scale solution architecture and complex system integration programs
• Strong expertise in middleware platforms, integration frameworks, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures
• Experience leading customer engagements, architecture workshops, and executive-level presentations
• Demonstrated ability to drive architecture strategy and governance across multiple programs
• Strong stakeholder management skills working with senior business and technology leaders
• Experience with industry frameworks and standards (TM Forum, GSMA, Open APIs, etc.)
