We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Revenue Recognition and Management Specialist to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for numbers, a keen eye for detail, and expertise in revenue recognition according to accounting standards, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate recognition of revenue following the relevant accounting standards and company-specific frameworks. Maintain thorough documentation and data to support revenue recognition processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales and engineering teams across multiple locations to ensure all revenue recognition practices align with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Invoicing: Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and other necessary documentation as per agreed SLAs, ensuring all records are accurate and complete.
- Audit and Compliance: Maintain proper documentation and support for all audit purposes. Provide accurate revenue reports and ensure taxes are calculated correctly for all revenue streams. Work closely with tax consultants and provide revenue reports for monthly VAT filling.
- Revenue Monitoring: Actively monitor revenue against budgets, identifying and reporting any variances or gaps to senior management to support timely decision-making.
- Reporting and Analysis: Develop and present insightful revenue reports using tools like Power BI to support business strategy and decision-making.
What We're Looking For:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar role within finance, accounting, or revenue management.
- Must be professionally qualified and accredited to at least one accounting body / a recognized university degree in finance stream major
- Proficiency in data modeling and analysis using Power BI, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition accounting standards, particularly in project revenue recognition.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey financial data and insights effectively.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics and posting journal entries.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
