Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Management:
- Maintain employee salary records, ensuring accuracy for payroll processing.
- Prepare documentation for payroll submissions, ensuring correct and timely submission of payroll inputs
- Assist with data entry for salary revisions, promotions, and other compensation-related changes
- Respond to employee queries regarding compensation, ensuring timely resolution or escalation to senior HR staff if needed.
- Support the annual salary review process by consolidating data and assisting in the preparation of review spreadsheets.
Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee enrollment, updates, and terminations for health insurance, life insurance, and other company-provided benefits.
- Collect and process required documents for employee benefits (insurance claims, EPF/ETF forms).
- Manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefit-related inquiries and issues, providing clear communication about benefits policies and updates.
- Ensure accurate and timely enrollment of employees into benefits programs and work with vendors to resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in evaluating and negotiating benefit plans with service providers to offer competitive and cost-effective packages.
- Liaise with benefit service providers for updates, claims, and general inquiries
- Prepare and distribute regular benefits communication to ensure employees are aware of their entitlements
- Provide employees with benefit information.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Generate reports related to benefits usage, and compensation trends for management review.
- Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
HR Benefits and Reporting:
- Update employee compensation and benefits, ensuring all changes are reflected accurately and timely.
- Generate routine reports on compensation and benefits usage.
- Assist in maintaining employee records and ensuring all compensation and benefits-related documents are organized and filed correctly.
Compliance and Statutory Reporting:
- Liaise with external and internal stakeholders' preparation and submission of statutory reports (EPF, ETF, APIT, Stamp duty etc.) to ensure compliance with local labor laws.
- Keep track of statutory deadlines and support audits related to compensation and benefits.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues related to compliance or employee data.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, including the Shop and Office Employees Act and other relevant Sri Lankan labor regulations.
- Maintain internal records for audit purposes and compliance reviews.
- Stay up to date with changes in government regulations affecting compensation and benefits and recommend necessary adjustments.
Employee Communication and Support:
- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding compensation, benefits.
- Assist in preparing communication materials for new hires, detailing compensation and benefits packages during onboarding.
- Provide ongoing support to employees regarding benefit claims and payment discrepancies.
- Support employee engagement initiatives related to rewards, recognition, and wellness programs.
Operational Support:
- Assist with any ad hoc projects related to compensation and benefits, including data collection and analysis.
- Support the HR team in day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring smooth execution of compensation and benefits processes.
- Collaborate with payroll teams and vendors to ensure smooth coordination of payment and benefit processes.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional qualifications in HR would be an added advantage.
- 2-3 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role, with a focus on compensation and benefits administration
- Understanding of Sri Lankan labor laws and statutory requirements related to employee compensation and benefits. Familiarity with compensation practices and market trends in Sri Lanka would be an added advantage.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
