Senior Project Manager
About the job Senior Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring delivery within time, budget, and quality parameters
- Coordinate and track the progress of assigned projects, ensuring timely updates, milestone tracking, and stakeholder reporting
- Develop, review, and implement project proposals, project plans, work breakdown structures, detailed schedules, and effort/cost forecasts
- Identify, manage, and prioritize interdependencies across multiple projects, particularly within IT digitalization and transformation programs, to ensure seamless execution
- Drive Scrum ceremonies and support hybrid delivery using Agile, Waterfall, and other best practices
- Ensure all project activities align with process and the documentation is consistently maintained, including project plans, reports, presentations
- Assess and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively, implementing mitigation strategies and ensuring business continuity
- Foster strong stakeholder engagement by capturing and balancing views to deliver optimal project outcomes
- Promote continuous improvement and process optimization across the project teams by leveraging insights, retrospectives, and process audit feedback
- Mentor and Lead junior Project Managers
Person Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field
- 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years of experience across the full SDLC lifecycle
- Proven experience in managing IT digitalization and transformation initiatives is a strong advantage
- Experience in hybrid delivery models using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- PMP, CSM, or ACP certifications will be an added advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate project-related information
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to anticipate risks and make proactive decisions
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships within the organization and with clients
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Exceptional time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management
