Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Communications Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This role provides hands-on experience in both global external communications and internal communications across ADLs offices in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Indonesia. This position will help shape ADLs corporate narrative, drive engagement, and manage communications projects with global exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

External Communications (Global Focus):

  • Develop, draft, and disseminate global press releases in collaboration with Tier-1 Telcos and strategic partners.
  • Support award publicity initiatives, highlighting ADLs achievements in global forums.
  • Contribute to corporate storytelling, media relations, and engagement with international stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing communications for global events, conferences, and industry forums where ADL participates.

Internal Communications (Regional Focus):

  • Drive internal communications across ADL offices in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Indonesia, ensuring employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with ADLs mission.
  • Develop newsletters, announcements, presentations, and executive communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistent messaging across all internal channels.

Project Management:

  • Support planning, execution, and monitoring of communications projects.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of initiatives and campaigns.
  • Track project milestones, media coverage, and engagement metrics.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Familiarity with corporate communications, media relations, event communications, or project management is an advantage but not mandatory.
