About the Role: Extractas Bioscience has partnered with Axia Recruitment to seek a highly skilled Senior IT Analyst to join their IT team. This role is crucial in providing expertise in complex information systems analysis, design, and solution delivery. As a Senior IT Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the organisations IT applications and systems while offering guidance and direction to other professional staff. You will also play a key role in ensuring high IT system compliance and managing strategic planning for system development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide primary support for all IT applications and systems, ensuring smooth operations across the business.
• Serve as a technical expert, offering guidance and resolving complex technical issues within the IT team.
• Participate in the development of strategic plans for system enhancements, focusing on consolidating legacy applications and introducing new technologies to reduce costs.
• Offer day-to-day site support for all IT activities, contributing to business continuity and system optimisation.
• Lead, guide, and support other IT staff in day-to-day and project activities.
• Maintain compliance with IT systems and regulatory guidelines, ensuring consistent adherence to procedures.
• Manage and supervise contractors and vendors as required for project implementation and system enhancements.
• Provide out-of-hours technology support as needed to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

Skills and Experience:

• A degree in Computing or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Experience in IT support provisioning within a medium-sized business environment.
• Strong knowledge of business applications, including finance, manufacturing, and laboratory software.
• Familiarity with IT systems in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Computer Systems Validation is desirable.
• Excellent strategic thinking and leadership skills, with proven experience in managing technical teams.
• Experience in managing external vendor relationships and ensuring smooth project execution.
• Proficiency with Windows-based systems and a broad range of IT systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
