Fairbrother is always looking for talented carpenters to join their team in both Tasmania and Victoria. As a Carpenter with Fairbrother, youll play a crucial role in ensuring that our commercial construction projects meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritise safety, aiming for zero Lost Time Incidents (LTIs), and work to eliminate hazards and reduce risks.
• Maintain a clean and organised workplace, respecting the environment and surrounding areas.
• Demonstrate leadership in safety, quality, and environmental practices while collaborating with your team.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Work closely with the Site Foreman or Sub Foreman, communicating effectively and reporting relevant information.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Strive for continuous improvement by seeking innovative solutions and implementing best practices.

Position Criteria:

• Commercial construction carpentry experience.
• Familiarity with Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
• Certificate III in Carpentry/Carpentry & Joinery or relevant Trade Certificate.
• Valid Car Drivers License, White Card, and Work Safely at Heights certification.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a high level of precision in your trade skills.
• Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to project requirements and work well under pressure.
