Axia Recruitment are excited to be exclusively partnering with the West Coast Wilderness Railway (WCWR) in the search for their next People and Culture Manager. Based in the stunning West Coast of Tasmania, WCWR offers a unique workplace experience with a team dedicated to delivering an authentic heritage rail journey that captures the spirit of the regions history and culture.
What were looking for
An experienced People and Culture Manager who is ready to lead and support WCWRs organisational and staff engagement strategies. Youre passionate about delivering high-quality operational and strategic human resource management to help the railway achieve its strategic and business objectives. Your skills will include:
Strategic HR leadership within a medium-sized organisation.
Expertise in recruitment, employee/industrial relations, and HR policy development.
Experience in staff development, performance management, and creating a positive workplace culture.
Solid knowledge of payroll administration and compliance with WHS legislation.
Where you will work
Your base will be in Queenstown, Tasmania, with occasional travel between WCWR sites. For the right candidate, this role offers the flexibility to work remotely, with three days on-site every 4-5 weeks (or by agreement). A vehicle allowance or company car will be provided.
