About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the manufacture and packing of alkaloid raw materials, seed cleaning, and wastewater treatment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our processes adhere to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety, environmental, and quality (cGMP/HACCP) compliance in manufacturing processes.
  • Operate and monitor equipment involved in the production and packing of controlled substances and seed.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, including batch records and compliance reports.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, quality audits, and investigations of process deviations.
  • Actively engage in Lean and process improvement initiatives to optimise productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist with the training and development of new team members.

Working Environment
The Manufacturing Operator will work closely with internal departments and external contractors to support continuous production. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and active participation in team initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications

  • Desirable: Certificate 2 in Process Plant Operations (Chemical Hydrocarbons and Oil Refinery) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Prior experience in the chemical or allied industries is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of GMP Quality Systems, HACCP/ISO22000, and proficiency with software such as Delta V, Citect, and Microsoft Office.
  • Attributes: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to teamwork.

Salary and Shift-Work Allowance

  • $60,000 - $65,000 FTE plus Superannuation
  • Shift Allowance of Approx $14,000
