Position: Senior Architect
Location: Launceston CBD
Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 including Superannuation (experience dependent)
Equity: Potential for equity stake after probation
Relocation: If you're not in Launceston, we can assist in getting you here and set you up for success.

CADD Alliance Group is a partnership between two well-established building design businesses, Plans to Build and Coactive Building Design, with over 40 years of combined local industry experience. Our focus is firmly on meeting our clients needs and expectations, providing creative yet practical solutions. With most work coming through word of mouth, we are expanding to meet the growing demand for our design services and explore new opportunities for growth.
The Role
As a Senior Architect, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, drafting, specification, and coordination of a range of small to medium-sized commercial projects across Tasmania, as well as some residential work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage architectural projects with a commercial focus.
- Collaborate with clients throughout the design process to refine their development needs.
- Develop detailed and precise design drawings using ARCHICAD.
- Coordinate planning and building approvals.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of design documentation.
- Work within agreed financial parameters, including approved budgets.
- Mentor and train junior team members.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand design requirements.
- Some statewide travel may be required.
Requirements
- 3-10 years of post-graduation experience in architecture.
- Registered architect or in the process of registration.
- Strong proficiency in ARCHICAD.
- Proven understanding and application of Australian building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
- Experience in CAD/BIM management and contract administration is desirable but not essential.
