ETL Specialist

Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities include:

Writing PostgreSQL or similar language scripts to analyze and translate customer data into Jonas' SQL database tables.

Interfacing directly with customers to define mapping specifications based on thorough data analysis.

Creating, debugging, and executing T-SQL scripts and stored procedures in alignment with data mapping specifications.

Managing ETL (extract, transform, load) data imports, exports, and modifications.

Ensuring quality assurance and database validation for all test and live conversions.

Regularly reviewing data and database backups to maintain data integrity and security.

Collaborating with project teams to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Demonstrating problem-solving skills in navigating through ambiguous situations and making informed decisions.

Quickly integrating new information and skills into your workflow to enhance personal and organizational success.

Playing a vital role in process management, aligning processes with organizational strategic goals, designing and implementing process plans, and establishing measurement systems that align with organizational objectives.

Requirements

Proficiency in writing PostgreSQL or similar language scripts.

Strong understanding of database management, including ETL processes and T-SQL scripting.

Ability to interface effectively with customers to define mapping specifications.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
