Our partner, a recognized manufacturer of high-quality dry and refrigerated van bodies, is seeking a motivated Account Manager to join their dynamic team. About the Role

As an Account Manager, your main objective will be to achieve sales targets while representing products known for their durability and quality. You will work closely with clients, providing consultative sales expertise and ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and Develop: Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into valuable partnerships.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships through meetings, follow-ups, and strategic conversations.
  • Sales Strategy: Manage the entire sales process, from planning and prospecting to negotiation and closing deals.
  • CRM Management: Regularly update the CRM system to maintain data accuracy and provide actionable insights.
  • Business Growth: Position the companys solutions effectively to drive market expansion and meet client needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
    • At least 5 years of experience in sales, ideally in a structured sales environment.
    • Familiarity with the transportation industry (trucks, trailers) is a strong asset.
  • Skills and Qualities:

    • Strong organizational and self-motivation skills.
    • Bilingualism (English and French) is required.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM systems.
  • Other Requirements:

    • A valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
    • Willingness to travel extensively (80% on the road, 20% administrative).

What We Offer

  • Compensation and Benefits:

    • Competitive base salary of $85,000, plus anticipated commissions of $55,000 for meeting minimal sales targets, resulting in a total on-target earnings of $140,000.
    • Uncapped commissions: 1% on dry van revenues and 2% on refrigerated van revenues.
    • Comprehensive insurance starting on day one, fully paid by the employer.
    • Mileage reimbursement ($0.70/km) and an expense account.
