Starlite Aviation Group is building a talent pool of experienced Captains with Bell 412 (B412) experience for potential upcoming rotor-wing operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for suitably qualified and experienced helicopter pilots who are interested in international, rotational aviation assignments and would like to be considered for future opportunities with Starlite Aviation Group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a B412 Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of the aircraft, ensuring compliance with applicable aviation regulations, company procedures and operational requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safely operate the Bell 412 in accordance with applicable regulations, company procedures and approved aircraft documentation.
- Exercise sound judgement and decision-making in all phases of flight.
- Ensure all flight operations are conducted safely, efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain a high standard of operational discipline and compliance.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections and ensure the aircraft is appropriately prepared for each mission.
- Ensure accurate completion of flight and operational documentation.
- Maintain effective communication with crew, engineering, operations and other relevant personnel.
- Manage operational risks and make appropriate decisions regarding weather, aircraft serviceability, crew and mission requirements.
- Participate in safety, training, checking and operational programmes as required.
- Support the development and mentoring of other flight crew where required.
- Comply with all applicable SACAA and other relevant aviation authority regulations.
- Maintain currency and proficiency in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Represent Starlite Aviation Group professionally when operating internationally.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & FLIGHT EXPERIENCE
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Holder of a valid ATPL (H).
- Current B412 rating.
- Minimum 2,000 hours total helicopter flight time.
- Minimum 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- Minimum 200 hours on the Bell 412, or 50 hours as PIC on the Bell 412.
- Minimum 100 hours Night PIC.
- Minimum 50 hours in NVIS operations.
- Minimum 75 hours PIC under IFR.
- Current and valid licence, medical and applicable ratings in accordance with the requirements of the relevant aviation authority.
- Willingness and ability to travel and work internationally.
- Previous international contract experience will be advantageous.
