At Avalon Services Group, we provide reliable and compliant staffing solutions to warehouses, logistics centers, and distribution centers across the nation. Our customers depend on us to fill essential roles in their warehouses, including Pickers/Packers, Forklift Drivers, Material Handlers, Cherry Pickers, and Handyman Services, among others.
We are looking to directly hire an Operations Project Coordinator to work from our corporate office.
Your Role
As an Operations Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our operational success. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Tracking and updating the progress of various projects to ensure they stay on schedule
- Providing regular labor reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to help clients monitor their costs
- Facilitating meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, discuss progress, and address any conflicts or challenges.
- Communicating consistently with customers regarding service and project updates
- Managing our quality control software to ensure each location meets its scope of work
- Organizing and coordinating field activities using project management tools
- Identifying potential issues and supporting solutions
- Maintaining clear records of all activities and communication
- Assisting with continuous process improvements
- Performing other administrative tasks as needed
What Were Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years experience in project coordination, operations, or related fields
- Proficiency with project management tools (such as Zoho, Monday, ClickUp, etc.)
- Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of quality control processes (a plus)
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel on occasion to visit customer locations with the operations team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Project Management (a plus)
- Experience in staffing, warehousing, or janitorial operations
- Spanish is a PLUS to communicate with vendors and workers
