A full-service logistics provider dedicated to offering innovative supply chain solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of clients in South Carolina and beyond. With a focus on reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, our customer specializes in transportation, warehousing, and distribution services that help businesses optimize their operations.

They are currently seeking certified reach truck operators for warehouse positions at their distribution center. This position is critical to meeting daily productivity requirements. The primary function is picking and putting away product in the high bay rack area, along with supporting receiving, order processing, and shipping.

Our customer emphasizes a team approach and expects every person to perform any reasonable task or request that is consistent with fulfilling the company's objectives.

Hourly Rate: $19.00

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm (Flexibility with overtime)

What You'll Do

• Properly put away received product in the correct storage location, following the paperwork attached to the load carrier.
• Pick the correct product using a tablet and deliver it to the proper shipping area.
• Adjust forks properly for each load type to prevent product damage.
• Complete the daily equipment checklist.
• Assist with unloading trucks and palletizing boxes.
• Support unboxing and preparing items for processing.
• Process incoming orders accurately and quickly.
• Use scanners and computers to complete order fulfillment.
• Pack items, work with packaging equipment, and ensure all items are properly packaged for shipment.
• Ensure labels are placed correctly on boxes.

What You Need to Qualify

• High school diploma.
• Reach Operator Certification.
• Knowledge of warehousing operations.
• Ability to work shifts and/or overtime as required.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work well with others in a team setting.
• Good communication skills with various levels within the organization.
• Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• A sense of urgency to meet deadlines and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20–40 lbs on a regular basis

What Other Skills Would We Love to See?

• Forklift experience on equipment beyond the reach truck.
• Radio frequency (RF) scanner experience.

What Physical Activities Will You Do?

• Frequently standing and walking.
• Frequently Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Frequently Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 40lbs.
• Frequently Communicating with others to exchange information.
• Frequently Reading safety signs, product labels, and other workplace information.
