About the Role
As a Final Quality Inspector, you will be a key player in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards before they reach our customers. You will conduct visual inspections, report any defects, and work with our teams to enhance product and process quality. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality, we want you on our team!
What You'll Do
- Conduct Final Inspections: Verify finished products against engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ensure Compliance: Inspect equipment to confirm adherence to unique customer requirements.
- Identify & Report Defects: Document and communicate non-conformities to supervisors and engineers.
- Support Quality Improvement: Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for identified issues.
- Maintain Records: Accurately log inspection findings and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Enhance Processes: Work with engineers and quality teams to prevent defects and streamline operations.
- Contribute to Team Success: Support company-wide initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
What We're Looking For
Basic Qualifications:
- A two-year technical degree OR equivalent training and certifications.
- At least 2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing with a focus on quality control.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions in English for testing and repairs.
- Skilled in handling delicate electronic components with precision.
- Familiarity with tools such as digital multimeters (DMMs), power supplies, and hand tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to quickly learn advanced inspection techniques.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms.
- Requires close vision for computer work and visual inspections.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. regularly.
- Repetitive hand and wrist movements for electronic assembly and testing.
