Overview:
Autonomy Staffing is seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our clients team in the Seattle metro area. This role involves a range of construction and remodeling tasks, from framing to finish work, and offers long-term opportunities for growth with a respected local contractor. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, trim, drywall backing, siding, doors, and window installation

  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to project specifications

  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans

  • Ensure work is completed to quality standards and in compliance with local building codes

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites

  • Collaborate with team members, site supervisors, and subcontractors as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional carpentry experience (framing and/or finish work)

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings

  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment

  • Reliable transportation and valid drivers license

  • Must have standard PPE (hard hat, safety vest, work boots, etc.)

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

  • Punctual, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

  • Experience in residential and/or commercial construction

  • Own set of tools (strongly preferred)

Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience. Weekly pay with direct deposit available.
