Autonomy Staffing is seeking an experienced and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join the team of our valued client in Ladson, SC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems in a variety of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines and associated components.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues or required repairs.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet job requirements and ensure quality work.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid drivers license (CDL is a plus).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in diesel mechanics is a plus.
