Steel Welder

PURPOSE

Reporting to the SR Supervisor, the Welder is responsible for working within a team of employees responsible for the welding of ship components and structures with the minimum production time and maximum quality.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
• At least high school graduate with formal training in welding taken from an accredited training centre.
• Must be an class certified welder.
• At least 2 years experience in FCAW Welding for Marine Structural Applications

Desirable
• Confined Space Entry Experience/Training
• Working at Height Experience/Training
• Hot Work Certified
