Job Description:

Aura BioSearch is currently supporting a search for a Strategic Account Manager covering the Mid-Atlantic territory with a well-established organization in the healthcare / pharmaceutical space.

This is a highly autonomous field-based role focused on growing and managing key hospital and health system accounts across the region.

Territory:

NC, KY, TN, VA, MD, DE, and Washington D.C.

What the hiring manager is looking for:

Experience selling into IDNs, hospitals, and ASCs

Background in generic injectables

Strong understanding of GPOs (Vizient, Premier, HPG)

Experience working with key wholesalers and distributors

Hospital contracting experience

Anesthesia experience (gases or equipment) is a plus

Strong relationships across the Mid-Atlantic hospital market

Comfortable operating as a road warrior managing a large territory

Candidates should be based near Raleigh, Charlotte, Baltimore, or Nashville (no relocation)

Compensation:

Base: $90K – $115K

Incentive Compensation: ~$39K

Car Allowance: Motus program (fixed + variable)

This role reports directly to the Sales Director and is responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle across hospital systems, distributors, and strategic accounts while driving revenue growth and portfolio adoption across the territory.
