National Account Executive Southeast (Pharmaceutical Sales)

Aura BioSearch is proud to be partnered with an innovative pharmaceutical organization seeking to appoint a National Account Executive to manage key accounts across the Southeastern United States. This individual will be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and alternate care channel partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-level relationships with senior stakeholders at assigned IDNs and GPOs to drive contract compliance and optimize sales performance.

  • Oversee full implementation of national contracts, working collaboratively with field sales teams to ensure alignment and execution.

  • Monitor key contract metrics including utilization rates, market share, and equipment usage; provide regular reporting to internal stakeholders.

  • Lead contract negotiations, including terms related to pricing, usage, and equipment requirements.

  • Conduct routine business reviews with IDNs and provide strategic input to improve engagement and sales outcomes.

  • Support new account onboarding, including coordination of equipment transitions and initial implementation plans.

  • Serve as a liaison between internal departments (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations) to ensure seamless contract execution.

  • Deliver customer-focused service through regular communication, on-site visits, and performance evaluations.

  • Provide mentorship and training to sales representatives on IDN strategy and implementation.

  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, competitive activity, and evolving market conditions.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required (Business, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred).

  • Graduate-level business education (e.g., MBA) is highly desirable.

  • Sales certifications or formal training programs are advantageous.

Experience:

Significant experience managing IDN accounts in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry.

  • Proven track record in field sales, business development, and contract negotiation.

  • Understanding of both acute and non-acute care market dynamics.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.

  • Self-motivated with exceptional time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to travel extensively within the Southeastern U.S. (approximately 5075% travel).

Location

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the following Southeastern states:
Texas, Georgia, Florida, Arkansas, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklohoma or Louisiana.

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Senior Director of National Accounts.
