Key Responsibilities:

To provide Operations Geological Supervisory Services the operations geologist will have competent skills to perform office-based supervision and guidelines of wellsite geological activities in accordance with current operational and wellsite geological practices. 

The operations geologist shall have operational duties and responsibilities, which will include but not be limited to the following:

• Supervision of wellsite geological activities, logistics and reporting
• Stratigraphic well correlations
• Formation Evaluation
• Post-well analysis and final reports
• Pressure prediction and drilling hazards assessment
• Contribution to well-related planning and decision-making
• Wellsite service procurement (wireline, mudlogging, laboratory services)
• Supervision of core analysis and associated services

Duties will be carried out in a professional and ethical manner. Any geological interpretations or recommendations, whether from samples, logs or any other data are made in an advisory capacity and under no circumstances should be relied upon as the sole basis for any operational or financial decision, or any procedure involving any risk to the safety of any drilling venture, drilling rig or its crew, or any other involved party's property or any other individual.
