SAP HANA Developer

We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA Developer to design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA database solutions and data models. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP HANA modeling, SQL scripting, and data integration, along with experience in SAP BW on HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP HANA Development & Data Modeling

• Design and develop SAP HANA models using Calculation Views, Analytical Views, and Attribute Views.
• Write complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, and table functions for data manipulation and transformation.
• Optimize data models and queries for better performance and efficiency.
• Develop and manage data provisioning solutions using SAP SLT, SDI, SDA, or SAP BODS.
• Performance Optimization & System Administration
• Perform query performance tuning and database optimization techniques.
• Implement indexing, partitioning, and compression strategies for performance improvement.
• Monitor SAP HANA system health and troubleshoot database-related issues.
• Work with SAP Basis and infrastructure teams for system upgrades and maintenance.

Integration & Support

• Integrate SAP HANA with third-party reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud).
• Collaborate with functional teams and business analysts to gather and understand business requirements.
• Provide technical support for SAP HANA applications and resolve performance issues.
• Document technical designs, development processes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in SAP HANA development, modeling, and SQL scripting.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA Studio, Web IDE, and Eclipse for development.
• Proficiency in SAP BW on HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and HANA XS Advanced (XSA).
• Experience in data provisioning tools (SLT, BODS, SDI, SDA).
• Familiarity with ABAP on HANA, SAP Fiori, and UI5 (preferred but optional).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• SAP Certified Development Specialist SAP HANA Modeling
• SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP HANA
• SAP BW/4HANA or S/4HANA certification (preferred but optional)
