SAP BASIS Administrator

This role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and performance optimization of SAP environments. This role involves system installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure the smooth operation of SAP applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and upgrade SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.).
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability.
• Manage SAP transport management system (TMS) and perform system migrations.
• Conduct SAP system refreshes, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
• Perform user administration, role management, and security configurations.
• Coordinate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams for system enhancements and troubleshooting.
• Apply SAP patches, support packs, and kernel upgrades as needed.
• Monitor database performance and collaborate with DBAs for optimization.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and security standards.
• Provide support for system audits, issue resolution, and technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration.
• Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, HANA, and database administration.
• Experience with OS platforms such as Windows, Linux, or Unix.
• Understanding of SAP security and authorization concepts.
• Familiarity with SAP cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• SAP certification in BASIS or HANA is an advantage.
