Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping: Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports.

Payroll Processing: Process payroll using QuickBooks Payroll, ADP, and Gusto. Ensure accurate payroll tax deductions, filings, and compliance.

Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, monitor budget vs. actuals, and perform variance analysis.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations, prepare W-2s, 1099s, and other tax filings.

Software Utilization: Use QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and payroll systems for bookkeeping and payroll tasks.

Client Support: Communicate with clients to address bookkeeping and payroll inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, including payroll processing with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, ADP, and Gusto.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, tax filings, and compliance. (preferred)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and payroll software.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
