About the job DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure management to help build, scale, and maintain our cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices, infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and security.

Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi

Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)

Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure

Implement automation for provisioning, configuration, and deployment across environments

Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure smooth delivery and compliance

Manage cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), including networking, compute, storage, and IAM
-
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and support incident response processes

Drive improvements in system observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting tools

Contribute to documentation of systems and processes
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering role

Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar

Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)

Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)

Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and DevOps workflows

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Nice to Have:

Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

Familiarity with zero-downtime deployments and blue/green or canary release strategies

Background in supporting infrastructure for data platforms or microservices
