SAP APO Expert (Mandarin Fluency Required)

About the Role

Our client, a Europe-based company, is seeking an experienced SAP APO (Advanced Planning & Optimization) Expert to support a regional project rollout. This role will involve full-cycle project activities including solution design, configuration, testing, training, and deployment, with close coordination across global and APAC teams.

Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) is mandatory to effectively engage with end users in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the rollout of SAP APO modules (DP, SNP, PP/DS, GATP, or relevant components depending on scope).

• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and translate needs into system solutions.

• Configure APO to align with business processes and rollout objectives.

• Support integration with related SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, BW, etc.).

• Conduct functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training sessions.

• Prepare rollout documentation including functional specs, training materials, and process flows.

• Provide hypercare support during go-live and stabilization phases.

• Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure project milestones are delivered on time.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on SAP APO experience (preferably in project implementations or rollouts).

• Strong expertise in at least one APO module (DP, SNP, PP/DS, or GATP).

• Proven project rollout experience in global or regional deployments.

• Strong integration knowledge with SAP ECC modules (SD, MM, PP, FI/CO).

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Mandatory: Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).

• Strong English communication skills to coordinate with global stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with occasional travel in APAC.
