Position Overview:
We are seeking talented and driven Associate Attorneys to join our growing M&A and Private Equity practice groups in New York. The ideal candidates will have meaningful experience advising corporate clients and private equity funds on a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, and other corporate matters.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurial associates to engage in sophisticated transactional work, take on significant responsibility, and build direct relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent corporate and private equity clients in M&A transactions, joint ventures, and related corporate matters.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and ancillary documentation.

  • Assist in managing deal processes from inception through closing.

  • Engage with clients directly and provide thoughtful, business-oriented legal advice.

  • Contribute to client development and relationship-building initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admitted to practice in New York.

  • 7+ Years of experience

  • Substantial experience in M&A and private equity transactions at a leading law firm.

  • Strong understanding of corporate law and current market terms.

  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $310,000 $420,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
