About the job GTM Engineer
Position: GTM System Engineer
Location: Brooklyn, NY (onsite role)
Salary: 140k-180k + Equity
About the Role
We're looking for a high-performing GTM Systems Lead to build the foundational systems that power our sales motion.
This is an AI-native builder role. You'll design, build, and own the automated, human-in-the-loop systems and AI agents that expand our team's capacity across the full GTM motion: signal-driven prospecting, lead qualification, outbound, measurement, and the data infrastructure underneath it all.
We're looking for someone who gets deep into how our team actually works, spots inefficiencies across the GTM engine, and gets excited about building the systems and agents that solve them. You'll work directly with our VP of GTM and GTM Senior Manager, and closely with our AI-native co-founders who are building our internal tooling.
The goal is to supercharge our sellers: freeing them to spend more time selling, while arming them with the data, insights, and systems they need to close far more than they could on their own.
This is a commercial role, with success measured by the revenue our GTM team is able to close because of the systems you build.
This is a full-time, in-person role at our headquarters in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, four days a week, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays optional WFH.
Responsibilities
In this role, you'll report to the VP of GTM/Growth and work closely with our commercial team, co-founders, and key scientists to:
Expand top-of-funnel
- Build agentic outbound systems across target list building, enrichment, hyper-personalized email and LinkedIn campaigns, and signal-based re-engagement, including job changes, LinkedIn posts, and press.
- Build agentic inbound lead qualification, routing, and customer segmentation systems that support sharper value propositions by brand.
- Automate market intelligence tracking, including category growth and consumer trends, to inform targeted outbound and marketing content.
Move deals through to revenue
- Automate the meeting cycle, including pre-meeting research and prep, post-meeting follow-up emails, CRM updates, and next-step assignment.
- Build automated, rule-based deal flagging for stalled deals, at-risk opportunities, and expansion potential.
- Build agentic systems for deal-specific research, custom presentations, and keeping validation databases and sales snippets up to date.
Build and own the data and measurement foundation
- Map all sources of GTM data, define the go-forward data structure, and build the roadmap to ensure our internal AI has access to a single source of truth across customers, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
- Serve as the primary administrator and architect for our CRM, Attio, including the data model, custom objects, lifecycle stages, and full integration layer.
- Build and own the measurement layer across outbound campaign performance, inbound lead attribution, and brand-building metrics, including LinkedIn, website, SEO, and AEO.
- Develop feedback loops that turn data into action.
- Continuously evaluate which tools in the GTM stack earn their place.
Competencies & Qualifications
- 4+ years designing and building systems that support GTM or sales teams, ideally in a RevOps, BizOps, or GTM Ops role at an AI-native B2B startup.
- A track record of designing systems from user needs, not just maintaining existing stacks.
- Familiarity with tools like Clay, Attio, Instantly, LinkedIn Helper, or Notion is a plus.
- Systems thinking and design: able to design and build well-structured, end-to-end systems, including defining inputs, outputs, use cases, and where humans stay in the loop, across multiple tools using APIs, webhooks, and no-code orchestration.
- High agency and builder mentality: identifies pain points, proposes solutions, ships scrappy first versions, and iterates based on what works.
- AI-native: works daily in Claude Code or equivalent tools, has strong prompt fluency, and can decompose workflows into reliable AI-powered steps.
- Analytical rigor: brings structured problem-solving, including MECE and hypothesis-driven thinking; is comfortable with imperfect data; and consistently gets to the so what.
- Project management rigor: delivers against deadlines, surfaces obstacles with proposed solutions, and doesn't drop the ball.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
