Job Description

CG Supervisors work closely with VFX and creative heads to ensure that work flows smoothly through the pipeline so that the show is delivered efficiently and on time. The focus of this position is to ensure that all 3D disciplines within VFX projects are delivered at the highest quality.

Responsibilities

• Having a solid VFX background and a comprehensive understanding of 3D/2D pipelines and software packages like Houdini, Maya, and Nuke is highly desirable.

• Provide input regarding tools and techniques that can be used to improve the output.

• Work closely with VFX/comp Supervisors and Leads to determine the best approach and scheduling.

• Being experienced in lighting and rendering using Arnold, Mantra, and V-Ray is advantageous.

• Should be able to analyze situations, propose creative solutions, and guide the team in overcoming obstacles.

• Being able to organize, direct, and design your work.

• Ability to work effectively within a team with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Exhibit a high level of focus and skill in a fast-paced production environment

• Excellent communication & analytical problem solving skills.           

  Strong demo reel and/or portfolio.
