Job Description
Rigging Artists are responsible for producing high-quality rigging and skinning for our CG Characters and props which we will be using for Anim and Crowd FX.
Responsibilities
Work closely with VFX Supervisors and Leads to determine the best approach to Create efficient rigs for anim and crowd FX.
Use and understand 3D applications such as Maya. (Houdini and Ziva is Plus)
Provide input regarding tools and interfaces to improve throughput
Skills
At least 5-7 years minimum of feature film production experience working with Maya and/or Houdini.
VFX experience is a must.
Ability to script in Python and Hscript.
Knowledge of Houdini - Muscles would be great.
Ability to quickly master proprietary effects tools and pipeline tools.
Ability to design, self-direct, and organize your work
Strong communication skills and must be able to work well within a team
Exercise a high level of focus and skill in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to perform visual and analytical problem-solving
Strong demo reel and/or portfolio in Rigging (Ziva muscle sim is plus)
